OUR STORY
A Historic Farm at the Mouth of Yellowstone National Park

A Legacy of Farming Tradition and Sustainable Agriculture

ABOUT YELLOWSTONE FARMSTEAD
A historic farm at the mouth of Yellowstone National Park, Yellowstone Farmstead is a locally owned and operated farm nestled in Paradise Valley, Montana. Founded by Sage LeBlanc, a sixth-generation farmer from Maine, our farm embodies a rich legacy of farming tradition and a passionate commitment to sustainable agriculture and serving our beloved community. Three years ago, under the original business name “Shugabeet Farms”, Sage broke ground in Paradise Valley. The farm has since expanded to encompass 10 acres of historic land at the base of Devil's Slide, adjacent to Yellowstone National Park, and a geothermal greenhouse and event space in Emigrant. Through the acquisition and steady development of these locations, Yellowstone Farmstead proudly serves a dozen local businesses, including Yellowstone National Park and Livingston’s Hospital. The farm also renovated 10 on-site housing units for farm employees, furnished with the generous donations from locals in the town of Livingston. Our mission is driven by a devotion to preserve historical land, ensure food security at the local level, and foster a community space for our neighbors and friends to share knowledge, meals, and memories. At Yellowstone Farmstead, we invite you to join us in nurturing this land, supporting our community, and savoring the flavors of locally grown, organic produce. Let’s close the gap from farmer to consumer together.

ORGANIC, LOCAL & SUSTAINABLE
Our mission is driven by a devotion to preserve historical land, ensure food security at the local level, and foster a community space for our neighbors and friends to share knowledge, meals, and memories. Agriculture isn’t limited to the production of food alone - we see it as a circular system that can also provide connection between grower, business, consumer, and neighbor.
